Duvane House is an 1760, awarding winning Georgian country home set in peaceful surrounds.
Based on the outskirts of Clonakilty on the N71 Duvane House was originally the Residence of Bishop Barnabus Deane but is now the home of Noreen and Rensie McCarthy who offer a warm welcome to their bed and breakfast Guests.
Their Georgian house with period furnishings including brass canopy beds offer a choice of spacious double, twin or family rooms which are all en-suite.
Open from March to November Duvane House offers guests many facilities such as a TV lounge for guests and limited WiFi Internet and email access.
Our Breakfast menu includes home made muesli, yogurt, freshly baked scones, bread, home made preserves and honey from our busy bee's. Of course the no Irish farmhouse would be complete without the option of the traditional full Irish breakfast of which we source the produce locally. All of our eggs are freshly laid by our happy free raid hens and our honey is provided from our onsite working Apiary which contains 10 bee hives and over 100,000 bees.
Further to this guests have full access to a private Car Park and landscaped gardens where you can relax. Duvane House also has a selection of Geese, ducks, hens, peacocks, dogs and cats to keep you entertained.
All our food is home made or produced locally.
